	A winery in the vineyard

	In building the winery, we didn't want to disturb the sensitive landscape – so we built under the vineyard. A clear require- ment of functionality, maximal use of subterranean resources, and a simple but sophisticated structure – monolithic, or "from a piece" – were the basic elements of our idea.


	Consonance of wine vision and architecture

	After one and a half years of project preparation by architects Angonese2/Köberl/Boday, we began with the excavation and slope reinforcement in November 2002 and with the construction at the end of January 2003. At the opening in April 2004, we were able to present this union with nature to the public.
